![]() The game is telling me I'm only allowed to use staves, orbs, and daggers. What if I want to build a tanky Sorc with max block etc. Personal loot feels like the devs are telling me how to build my character.Where are all the life leech, mana after kill, resource management, dodge, etc. Everything just feels like a damage on hit modifier.Especially when armor exists (This kind of worked in D2 because armor is actually dodge) I literally had all 3 roll on an item.4% Damage reduction from distant enemies.Affixes are overly specific, redundant, and not impactful. This applies to all other item types such as pants/armor, etc. There are no types of "Bows", there are just bows. This won't change regardless of my level. IMO item types need to have a usecase, otherwise why have them. ![]() The affix pool does have some decent ones such as +skill and more generic non specific ones, but its plagued and bloated with far more useless ones. I feel like some missed my point here, my concern was the overall design of the itemization: Magic is shit, rare is better, legendary is bis. And with as bad as D2 stats were, you still had the choice of going max-block, titan builds, full on energy for ES sorc, etc. Their goal in recent quarterly updates was to make stats more meaningful for all classes and if they are meaningfull then the argument of put enough strength for gear, and rest in vita is moot. Stat Allocation: Just because D2 did it poorly doesnt mean D4 cant improve on it. ![]() Don't forsee my self playing this beyond a few weeks. TLDR: Fun game with beautiful art and story telling, but lacks deep itemizations and meta systems. I have managed to reach level 21 and cleared the bulk of the zone. I have compiled a list of feedback for the D4 beta. Last updated at 14:00:17 UTC Weekly Help Desk RAGE Loot Thread Trade Thread
